Getting Your Solar System (The Five Steps)
Step 1: Call Us
- Ask your questions, we're here to help.
- A consultation between the Solar Engineer and the Customer is scheduled.
Step 2: Consultation between Solar Engineer and Customer occurs as follows:
- Solar System Customer Form is completed.
- Site Survey is completed which includes: taking roof and conduit run measurements, taking photographs, measuring roof tilt, measuring roof heading, and taking shading measurements.
- Benefits and rebates of solar installation are further discussed.
- Technical aspects of system are discussed as necessary.
- Ball park cost figure of the system can be given.
Step 3: Quotation Submitted
- Quotation for the solar system is submitted to the customer:
- This will be submitted to the customer within 5-7 working days from time of consultation.
- Quotation will be valid for 30 days from date of delivery.
- Quotation price will be for the complete system including design, equipment installation, and follow up inspections.
- Quotation will also include: energy savings estimation, return on investment forecast, time frame of job, warranty information, sample system drawings of previous jobs, maintenance options, and company contact information.
Step 4: System Design Completed
Upon
receipt of payment, system designs will be completed by our Design
Team. Our Design Team includes: Mechanical Engineers, Structural
Engineers, Electrical Engineers, CAD Designers, and Architects.
Your Design will include:
- A Description of Design
- System Design Drawings
- Electrical and Structural Code Compliant Documentation
- Submitted building permit documentation
- Copies of all submitted paperwork for incentives and rebates
Step 5: Installation
- Upon receipt of permit, your designated Solar Engineer will work with our Licensed Contractor to schedule the installation of your system with you.
- Our Licensed Contractor will lead a crew of experienced solar technicians to efficiently install your system per the system designs.
- We
aim to make the entire project from consultation to installation
positive, pleasant and professional. We welcome any feedback before,
during and after the completion of the project.
