Mike Militello
President and CEO

Mike has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and a Post Graduate Degree in Education from Greenwich University in London.   So far, he has been directly involved in the design and specification of nearly 1 MW of solar systems.

Previous to setting up Greenway Solar, Mike has worked as a Design Engineer, a Technical Sales Engineer, a Project Manager, and a College Lecturer.  Additionally,  he owned and operated an events management and audio production company in the UK for 10 years.

Mike has been a long time advocate of clean renewable energy, and also a keen advocate of energy efficiency.  In early 2008, following the birth of his son, Mike decided to focus his Business, Engineering and Project Management experience to solar power and formed Greenway Solar Electric, Inc.

When Mike set up Greenway Solar, he established these goals for the company.
•    To help enable homeowners and businesses to generate their own clean and green energy through solar power.
•    To educate others about the virtues of solar power.
•    To deliver impeccable project management throughout the design and installation of each project.
•    To provide the most suitable solar power system to meet each customer’s needs at the most economical price deliverable.
•    To offer transparency, integrity and friendly service throughout each project.
•    To give a highly positive and professional experience to each and every customer.

Steven Reneker
Installation Manager 

As the Installation Manager of Greenway Solar, Steve has extensive experience running a variety of commercial and residential projects, including multi-unit housing, commercial tenant improvements, system upgrades, and solar installations.

Active in his field, Steve keeps up with new technologies, including sustainable construction and solar system integration and participates in conferences and certification courses in Southern California.

Steve is a California licensed C-10 electrical contractor and also holds certifications in Electrical Journeyman and North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). He received his Bachelor of Science in International Business from California State University, Long Beach and has been involved in the construction field since 1997.

In order to better serve Greenway Solar customers, Steve is broadening his construction expertise by pursuing a General Contractor’s license and becoming a LEED accredited professional.

Steve is also the owner and lead electrician of Reneker Electric.

Bryan “Sunny” Adams
System Design Manager

Sunny worked for environmental organizations in his late teens and early twenties, and developed an awareness of our impact on nature at a young age.  He also developed a background in computer science, networking, electronics, and 3D modeling.

Sunny received his North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification early in 2009, and has been working with Greenway Solar since.
