Greenway Solar recently partnered up with Sungevity to offer their solar lease. By securing this partnership with Sungevity, we can offer solar to more of our local customers who want to go solar, but can't afford the high upfront cost. We looked at numerous lease offerings from other leasing companies, and found the Sungevity lease to be the best overall product.

What is it?

Rather than buying a system outright, you can lease a solar system for $0 down and start saving money on your electric bill immediately. This means you can go solar, save money, and have no out-of-pocket expense! But wait there's more… with a leased system you also get a performance guarantee, free maintenance, and free monitoring.

How much will I save?

You will still pay an electric bill, but it will be significantly lower than your current bill. You will also pay a monthly lease payment. Your new bill and your lease payment will be lower than your current electric bill. Your savings will usually be 10-20% lower. Over time, you will save thousands on utility costs!

How long is the lease, and what happens at the end of the lease?

The lease term is 10-years. At the end of the lease term, the customer can do one of three things: 1. Extend the lease 2. Purchase the solar system 3. Or have the system removed free of charge.

Will I get the state rebate and federal tax credits?

No, these will be assigned to the leasing company to help cover the costs of your system. Lease payments will cover the additional costs.
