Getting Your Solar System (The Five Steps)

Step 1: Call us

Yes, we answer our phones. On the phone, we can answer any questions you have and can even give you a ballpark price of what a solar system for your property will cost. We can also schedule appointment for a free on-site consultation with one of our Solar Engineers.

Step 2: Site Assessment

We will come to your property with all of our tools and necessary ladders, and do a detailed site assessment. We will measure your roof including the location of all your roof obstructions, investigate your roof rafter size and spacing and if necessary do this from within your attic, perform a shading analysis, take the necessary photographs, look at your service panel, determine best conduit runs, etc. Of course, we can also answer any additional questions you may have at this time.

Remember this: If you get a solar quote from a company who has not been on your roof, or even worse, relied totally on online data, there is a lot of room for error, and errors cost money and time. Do not buy a solar system from a contractor who has not done a detailed analysis of your home prior to giving you a proposal.

Step 3: Your Proposal

Greenway Solar will give you a detailed quotation for your turnkey solar system.

This will include the following:

  • Electric Rate Comparison with and without Solar
  • Photovoltaic System Summary (Which includes: Pricing, Specified Equipment, State and Federal Incentives Amounts, Your Energy Power Production Values, Financial Savings, Environmental Benefits, and Warranty Information)
  • Cash Flow and Financials Spreadsheet
  • California Solar Initiative Report Showing Your Expected Rebate and The Annual Energy Production of Your Solar System
  • Shading Analysis Report
  • Equipment Data Sheets

Additionally, we are happy to provide you with customer references, and copies of any of our company insurance documentation.

Step 4: System Designs, Permits, Rebate and Net Metering Paperwork

Our in-house design team will move quickly to complete the necessary design documentation for your local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction). Once completed, we will submit this documentation for a permit. Turnaround time for these two steps is usually two weeks.

Also, at the same time we are working on your design, we will immediately submit all the required paperwork for your rebate reservation and net-metering application. By quickly submitting your rebate reservation, we can lock in your rebate at the highest amount available. Additionally, by quickly submitting your net-metering paperwork, we can minimize any delay to get your system turned on after we complete the installation.

Step 5: Installation and Final Inspections Completed!

Congratulations! At this point, you will now have your fully operational solar power system producing clean, renewable power with all the included financial benefits for many, many years to come.

We look forward to hearing from you..

Thank You!
