"We decided to go with Greenway Solar for several reasons. We wanted to support a local community business and we realized it was more cost-effective over the long term to own our own system as opposed to leasing. At every turn, the Greenway Solar staff were professional, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. They walked us through every step of the process and provided clear documentation of the system, our costs and the rebates. When the panels we ordered were not readily available, they upgraded us at no additional cost. Everything went smoothly on his end from start to finish. We are so thrilled to be using renewable energy, reducing our carbon footprint, and our system will pay for itself within seven years. After that, it's free electricity! "I was really happy with Greenway Solar from start to finish. I liked how the owner clearly outlined the cost benefits of going solar with a table that showed how quickly we could recoup our investment. Throughout the process, Greenway Solar followed through and delivered a quality product in a professional way. Putting solar modules on our Manhattan Beach home was a no-brainer since we don't plan on moving and we don't like paying electric bills. Now that we have solar modules, our electric bill is almost zero and we might even get a small check from the electric company if we continue to use less than we generate on a annual basis. With the added benefit of a cash rebate from the state of CA and a tax credit from the feds, we think that our panels will have paid for themselves in about 8 years. "I prefer doing business with small, local companies, whenever possible, so I solicited proposals from three local contractors, who were on the State of California's list of, certified solar electric contractors. We selected Greenway, for several reasons: (1) The sales staff made a very good impression over the phone; (2) Greennway Solar was the only contractor who met our requirement for solar panels made in the USA; (3) Greenway Solar was the only one who proposed the use of micro-inverters (which have many advantages); and (4) their proposal was about $1,000 lower than the other two. Greenway performed exceedingly well throughout the design and installation phases of the work. They very quickly produced excellent plans for our installation. In order to get our Federal Tax Credit in 2010, I asked them to expedite our project. They were able to get the necessary permits from L. A. City Building and Safety, as well as LADWP, and order the panels, amazingly fast. They also got our panels upgraded, without any increase in cost, in order to meet our deadline. The owner was personally involved in the installation of the system, which took just two days, and he oversaw the specialized electrical work that was done by his electrician. The owner alos personally called for the necessary inspections, and was on site when the inspectors were here. Greenway staff also helped with all of the Solar Incentive Program applications and documentation, and he helped me fight with LADWP about their reluctance to inspect the system, once it was completed. In the end, the system was completed ahead of schedule (only the LADWP's stubborn refusal to inspect the system delayed its being made operational), and there were no cost overruns. After the system became operational, the owner came out and installed monitoring equipment and showed me how to use it. Th owner's personal follow-up, and sincere caring, made me very glad that I selected Greenway. Since the system has been operational, we have only had one bill for a full, two-month cycle. It showed that we actually produced more electricity than we used. Therefore, we have not only reduced our normal bill, from $67 (for the same period in 2010), to $22 (which is the LADWP minimum charge for service), but we were given a credit, of $37, for the surplus electricity we produced. So, the system is starting to "pay for itself", although that is not the reason we had it installed. We have recommended Greenway to several of our friends, and family, and anyone wishing to see the system (which is nearly invisible on our roof), is welcome to drive by and take a look."

"On my daily walks with my dogs I saw the Greenway Solar trucks and signs at two houses in my neighborhood. I was extremely interested in installing a system in my home for various reasons. The Greenway Staff were extremely professional, reliable and knowledgeable, and instilled great confidence in me that I had make the correct choices. The owner is a perfectionist and there were no problems with the installation. Greenway applied diligently to the DWP rebate system, and within 2 weeks of the application, the DWP representative came to my home, turned on the system, and stated that it was a perfect system.
